How to Make a Mind Map
The 'Laws of Mind Mapping' were originally devised by Tony Buzan when he codified the use of imagery, colour and association and coined the phrase 'Mind Mapping'. In the intervening 30 plus years, there have been many variations on the original 'Mind Map ' and the widespread usage of mapping software of various sorts, has dramatically changed what is possible.

The time element (and microformats)
Microformats are a way of adding extra semantic information to a webpage using HTML classes — information like an event’s date and time, a person’s phone number, an organisation’s email address, etc.
They aren’t a “standard” per se, but they are a widely adopted convention within the geek community. And since they use an agreed-upon set of class names, they are as compatible with HTML5 as they are with HTML4 or XHTML.

The Science of Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship does not just guide the process of having an idea and then building a business. A true entrepreneur has to predict the future. The idea that a businessperson is great because he had "built a company from the ground up" is missing a major component-- the entrepreneur's original hypothesis. Without a well-defined theory and end goal, it's difficult to test a market and therefore difficult to start an enormously successful business. I think the original idea, the hypothesis, is sometimes given too little credit. Especially in the era of Web 2.0

A new way of working
In the past each person at 37s has been pretty isolated. Everyone pretty much worked on their own own project. There was some overlap in a few spots, and occasionally a small team might come together to tackle something big, but most of the time it was every man for themselves.
We also had a tendency to pull people in different directions. We might ask someone to work on A, but then a few days later ask them to pitch in on project B, and then also ask them to help fix bug C. That makes settling into a focused zone really difficult. In 2010 we’re going to change that. Here’s how...

The Rich And Powerful
The past few years, I've noticed a common theme in talks by the rich and successful people I've seen speak. They all seem to be extremely (in some cases obsessively) curious about why they, in particular, have been successful. It seems almost as though they feel undeserving, as if the rest of their lives have been an attempt to prove their first success had a reason or formula.
